ACL reconstruction is a surgical procedure where a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament is replaced with a graft, typically harvested from the patient's own hamstring, patellar, or quadriceps tendon. The graft is secured in bone tunnels drilled into the femur and tibia. Wording is cautious: surgery is not always required, and success depends heavily on structured postoperative rehabilitation.

Risks
